

The Italian Festival will take place on Water Street near Court Street from 9:30am –2pm, with live music from Rooster and the Roadhouse Horns after the parade. The Binghamton High School Steel Drum Band will lead off the music segment of the parade. The marching bands will compete in front of judges on Court Street between Water Street and Gorgeous Washington Street. and the Athens Area Schools Marching Wildcats from Athens, Penn. Two Pennsylvania bands will also participate: the Williamson Marching Warriors from Tioga, Penn. The tournament, which judges competing marching bands on music, color guard and drum major performances, will include bands from four Broome County high schools: Union-Endicott, Johnson City, Whitney Point and Chenango Forks. Six schools from around the region will participate in the annual Tournament of Marching Bands during the parade.
